On that fateful day, August 3rd, tragedy struck in the Nuh district. It was during a procession organized by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal that violence erupted, changing the lives of many forever.
Khurshidan, a humble woman, had lovingly nurtured her home for three long decades. It wasn’t just a house; it was the repository of 15 family members’ cherished memories. However, the cruel demolition didn’t spare their bricks and mortar; it shattered their entire world.
The destruction went beyond bricks and walls. It devoured their possessions, including furniture, ration, and all the essentials that held their lives together. Khurshidan, overwhelmed by despair, couldn’t come to terms with the magnitude of the disaster that had befallen her family.
As if losing their home and belongings weren’t enough, their sense of security had also been torn away. The very foundation of their lives had crumbled.
Miles2smile team stepped in to provide immediate assistance. They arranged rations and other essential needs, but they knew that the road to recovery would be long and challenging.
With an unwavering determination to help Khurshidan and her family rebuild their lives, the Miles2smile Foundation launched a fundraising campaign. Their goal was to provide the necessary resources and support to help this shattered family regain a semblance of stability and security. Miraculously, they managed to raise 2.1 lakh rupees for Khurshidan.
While the scars of that fateful day would never completely heal, this outpouring of support offered a glimmer of hope amidst the darkness. It was a reminder that, even in the face of the most devastating tragedies, there are compassionate souls willing to extend a helping hand, offering a ray of light to those in despair.
